What is pediatric occupational therapy?

Occupational therapy (OT) helps individuals to develop the skills they need for everyday activities (or "occupations") like playing, eating, getting dressed, attending school, or interacting with others. Pediatric occupational therapists work with children who have physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges to improve their independence and help them participate more fully in school, home, and play.

At Busy B Pediatrics, we specialize in supporting children with:

  • Infant Feeding Difficulties

  • Developmental Delay

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Down Syndrome

  • Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD)

  • as well as a range of other developmental and feeding conditions.
